Fiona Huynh

Fiona Huynh is a Bay Area-based filmmaker dedicated to telling authentic, character-driven Asian American stories that reflect her cultural roots and community experiences. Originally on a path in biology, she transitioned into cinema to pursue her passion for visual storytelling and social impact through film. Fiona has worked as a director, producer, cinematographer, and sound mixer on a range of short films, drawing from personal narratives and underrepresented histories to craft emotionally resonant work. Her filmmaking is grounded in collaboration, empathy, and a deep commitment to representation, especially for marginalized voices. Through both creative and technical roles, she aims to bridge generations, explore identity, and bring forward stories rarely seen on screen.
